bencallaghan.com.au is the personal-facing front door for Ben Callaghan, sole trader of Callaghan Media (ABN 23 624 860 658). Paid work is delivered under Callaghan Media. This policy explains what personal information is collected through this site, how it's used, and how to ask for it to be changed or removed.
What's collected
When you fill in the booking form on /book or send an email, the following may be collected: name, email address, phone number, the name of your business or project, your budget, your timing, and any notes you choose to send.
The site also uses Cal.com to schedule discovery calls. When you book a time through the embedded scheduler, Cal.com receives the information you give to it directly under their own terms.
How it's used
Information submitted through this site is used only to reply to your enquiry, quote and deliver work, and (where invoicing applies) to keep tax and accounting records as required under Australian law. It is never sold, swapped or rented to anyone.
Where it's stored
Enquiries are received via email through Google Workspace and managed inside business systems run by Callaghan Media. Project records are kept for as long as the working relationship and Australian record- keeping requirements demand, then archived or destroyed.
Third parties
The only third parties that touch your data are the platforms used to deliver the site and run the business: hosting and analytics (Vercel, Google), email (Google Workspace), scheduling (Cal.com), invoicing (Rounded), and the accountant Callaghan Media works with for tax obligations. Each operates under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask, at any time, to see what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). Email ben@callaghanmedia.com.au to make a request.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses minimal first-party cookies for session state (e.g. to remember an intro animation has already played). Standard server logs record visit information for debugging. No advertising trackers run on this site.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for two weeks.
